On Saturday, April 25, Family Hope Foundation hosted a memorable family event in partnership with the Coopersville Marne Railway. Sponsored in-part by Meyering Insurance and Auto Owners Insurance, more than 120 guests joined us for a relaxing ride along the rails as we made the seven-mile trek between Coopersville and Marne.
It was the picture-perfect spring day–cool and comfortable, with scenic views of freshly blooming trees and flowers lining the route, a visit by some very special visitors (Mama Duck and the ConDUCKtor), and time for families to spend the journey connecting with each other and others along for the ride. It was quite simply the perfect way to spend an afternoon together.
When we host a family event, it’s not just for the families … it’s just as meaningful for us, and creates some powerful moments for our staff and Board.
